            How To Become A Christian

God offers salvation, eternal life, and indeed heaven itself to everyone as a free gift!

                                                Do You Know Why?

The Bible tells us in Romans 3: 23 that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; and we are told in Romans 6: 23 that the wages or penalty for sin is death.

You Need Salvation, Because You Cannot Save Yourself

The good deeds you have done is not good enough, because the Bible says in Ephesians 2: 8-9, For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.  Not of works, lest any man should boast.

                                                   The Bible Also Tells Us

That God loves us and nothing we do will change His love for us. He loves us so much that He gave His only begotten son and whosoever believes in Him would not perish but have everlasting life (John 3: 16)  Even while we were in our sins, God's love still reached out for us, and the Bible says in Romans 5:8 that God provides His love for us in that, while we were still sinners Christ dies for us.

Even though we have sinned and deserve to die, through Jesus Christ we have Good News.  God placed all our sins on the sinless Christ, our guilt...our shame...our punishment, and He dies for our sins.

Salvation is God's Gift For You, And It Is Free

All you have to do is confess...The Bible says in Romans 10:9 If we confess our sins, He who is faithful and just will forgive us of our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

In Acts 3: 19a you are called upon to repent, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out. In Acts 16:31 you are called upon to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

If what have been said is clear to you, right now you can receive Christ by inviting Him into your life. You may want to pray this prayer, "Lord Jesus, I need You. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be."

Your salvation is not based upon feeling, but upon faith "in the trustworthiness of God Himself and His Word.
